Membership, Volunteering and supporting
Abbey Cwmhir Heritage Trust is delighted by the interest shown in its community heritage project ‘Demystifying the Abbey’ project.
We have developed a very enthusiastic group of volunteers who are involved in a wide range of activities from preparing graphical material, conducting interviews and searching the historic archives to field surveying and walking our footpaths.
There are many opportunities to join our activities, either as a regular volunteer, or by taking part in Events.
If you would like to express interest in us, then please contact history.cwmhirabbey@gmail.com and we will put you on our mailing list, so that you receive our project newsletter and have advance notice of our events. We can also let you know more about our volunteering opportunities.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Abbey Cwmhir Heritage Trust then full details of the benefits of becoming a member are described here.
Our activities include hosting training events and on-line talks, which are advertised through this website, other social media and to our mailing list. These events have been very successful and we will be using donations kindly given by the attendees of these talks to contribute towards the Trust’s fundraising to allow further research of the Abbey and its environment.
We are most grateful for all donations made. If you would like to donate to Abbey Cwmhir Heritage Trust’s Research Fund, and then see the outcomes of our activities, then please use the button below
