Abbey Cwmhir Heritage Trust is leading an excavation at Cwmffwrn Farm in the Home Grange of Abbey Cwmhir, Radnorshire. The excavation will be supervised by professional archaeologists – Jenny Hall and Paul Sambrook and attendees will learn about the process of excavation, identifying finds, and surveying techniques.
Each day will be stand alone so attendees can book for 1 or both days. On each day attendees will be able to experience the full variety of activities.
The timing for the day will be 10.00 – 16.30.
Attendees will receive a detailed information pack prior to the event.
Please note that young people (under-18s) and vulnerable adults will need to be accompanied
